Family and Children Portraits

Family with two dogs at park

Each family is different, so why should each family portrait look the same.  I subscribe to the order of slight chaos during family portraits.  Children should be allowed to play, be themselves, be silly.  As we get older it is harder to get the silly to come out and play, so enjoy it when the kids are young.

What to expect at a family portrait session

First of all, relax. No need to stress.

Clothing for your session should be simple, comfortable and reflect your family’s personality.

Location for your session can be anywhere.

Children’s portraits are the same.  I like to believe that taking time to capture the image is more important than rushing.  As a parent of two boys… rushing never ends well.
